The purpose of the Elementary Library Club is to make its members more efficient library assi stantsg to improve library services, and to give the as- sistants ain opportunity to learn and to put in to practice phases of work re- lated to library service, but not included in the library program. To join the club, each student must keep up his grades and work in the li- brary during school or twenty minutes before or after school. Members of the club have projects consisting of things that will help the li- brary or the club. Points are given for these projects, and at the end of the year a party is given for the presentation of an award to the member with the most points, Members of the club are entitled to belong to the State Library Council. Delegates are chosen to attend the state meeting, but all members may at- tend the district meeting. SENIOR HIGH CHORUS The first day there were only four of us, but we grew steadily and by sec- ond semester We could boast of twenty-five. We sang for the P,T,A, at Christmas time, the District IV Meeting of Cafeteria Workers and were hosts to the District V Choral meet in March. Last but not least was the Spring Concert in April. JU ICR HIGH CHCJRUS The excitement of tryouts, the thrill when our names were called to re- port for Chorus - The Christmas program for P, T,A, and the Spring Con- cert in April - All of these we remember for We were the 1959-1960 Junior High Chorus of B.H.
