I Maintenance ...... . . 3 Automotive Mechanics . . 3 Service of Appliances ..... l Service Station Attendant . . 3 fThere are many other fields Radio Z9 Television . . . l open to students also.D The D,C, T, began its year with 39 members, Its average income is EEZ, OOO monthly for the 39 members. It's classes are held in a schedule quite differ- ent from regular school. Students spend two hours in the D.C.T. class- rooms, four hours in school, one hour in general related study, one hour of specific related study, two hours in other classes, and four hours on the training job, which is usually from 1 to 5 p. m. THE D. C. T. PURPOSE The object of the program is to help the student gain knowledge, appreci- ation, and skills necessary to carry on those activities which bring job train- ing and classroom teaching together in harmonious relationships for the wel- fare and progress of that student. PHILOSOPHY Every boy and girl should have an opportunity to discover and develop their talent, aptitudes and abilities, thereby enabling them t0 become more valuable citizens with a satisfying feeling of confidence and vocational corn- petency. v0RlO 4 'P D. c.
