CLASS OFFICERS (Left to Right): Tom Myers, Treasurer; Shirley Beard, Secretary; Gary Creiglow, President; Connie Sargent, Vice President; and Shirley Cook, Reporter and Historian. THE HISTORY OF THE CLASS OF 65 We began our Freshman year with a class of sixty-six students. The class officers for the year were: President, Mike Peeples; Vice President, Connie Sargent; Secretary, Bob Floyd; Treasurer, Janice Jay; Reporters, DiAnna Gustin and Linda Penny; Historian, Shirley Cook; and Sergeants at Arms, Barry Brown and Ralph Stonerock. Our advisors were Mr. Miller and Mr. Williams. During the year we enjoyed decorating a Halloween float for the Pumpkin Show and we boosted the most profitable stand. As Green Freshmen, our trip to the Ohio Caverns was the main event of the year. We also enjoyed sponsoring our first record hop. Sixty-six students entered the Sophomore class with Mr. Mercer and Mrs. Rose as our advisors. The officers elected were: President, Bob Guisinger; Vice President, Connie Sargent; Secretary, DiAnna Gustin; Treasurer, Linda Penny; Reporters, Shirley Cook and Sharon Jones; Historian, Shirley Cook. Our Pumpkin Show stand again made more money than any other class stand. President, Barry Brown; Vice President, Connie Sargent; Secretary, Sharon Jones and Shirley Beard; Treasurer, Tom Myers; Reporter, Pat Bishop; and Historian, Shirley Cook were the officers of sixty-one students enrolled in our Junior class. Mr. Stephens and Mr. Bunnell were our advisors. Our class projects were as follows: a magazine sale, a stand at the Pumpkin Show, record hops, markets and car washes, and a Fruitcake sale during the Christmas Season. The class play, The Mad March Heirs, was presented after weeks of practicing and intermittent fun. We were also proud to receive our class rings during this year. The Junior-Senior Reception entitled Fantasy of the Sea was the highlight of the year. Now as we entered our long-awaited Senior Year with fifty-one students, our officers were President, Gary Creiglow; Vice President, Connie Sargent; Secretary, Shirley Beard; Treasurer, Tom Myers; Reporters, Shirley Cook and Nancy Reed; and Historian, Shirley Cook. Mr. Miller and Mr. Patrick were our advisors during this busy year. Our candy sale, the sale of BHS Pins, a Pumpkin Show stand, a basketball raffle, pop bottle drive, markets and car washes, and five dances including the Homecoming Dance, were all for the expense of the Senior Trip. Mother Is A Freshman, our class play, which was a big success, and the Annual Sales were the final projects of the year. Then came the hard-earned trip to New York where everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The Eighty-Third Commencement Exercises were presented by the Senior Class on Sunday, May 23, at 8:00 p.m. Fifty-four students from the Class of '65 are now the proud holders of diplomas from Bradford High School. As we say farewell to the halls of Bradford High, we now realize that we are going Out of School Life Into Life's School. CLASS COLORS: Powder Blue and White CLASS FLOWER: Blue Rose i o
