Left to right: Bob Besecker, Treasurer; Steve Griffith, Secretary; Gary Sarvar, Vice-President; Tom Aultman, President. ‘dfte Class History As the class of 1961 entered high school in the Autumn of our Freshman year we had little thought of treasured memories we would soon hold. We began the year by choosing our class officers: Bob Besecker, president; Mike Boo-her, vice-president; Norene Shock, secretary; and Gary Sarver, treasurer. During the year we enjoyed making a float for the Pumpkin Show, and taking a field trip to the Ohio Caverns. We sponsored a Pumpkin Show stand and one record hop. Leaving 1958 behind, we journeyed on to higher heights. During our Sophomore year we began to see a goal ahead, graduation. We elected as class officers: Mike Booher, president; Gary Sarver, vice-president;Judy Leistner, secretary; and Barbara Reed, treasurer. We decorated a float for the Pumpkin Show, and held the traditional Sophomore Carnival. W e also sponsored a Pumpkin Show stand, a Christmas dance, and a Valentine's Day dance. As we journeyed on we found, on the threshold of the Junior year, precious little time left to enjoy adolescence. We selected with care our class officers: Tom Aultman, president; Gary Sarver, vice-president;Norene Shock, secretary; and Judy Leistner, treasurer. Our class activi- ties were a Pumpkin Show float, the Junior Class Play Buy Jupiter , and the Junior-Senior Reception Moonlight and Roses , the very name of which spells out romance and memories. The class also sponsored a Pumpkin Show stand, a magazine sale, and two record hops. Finally the big year arrived. The year we always dreamed of and yet were always a bit afraid of, the year of 1960-61. We organized this memorable year by choosing our class officers: Tom Aultman, president; Gary Sarver, vice-president; Steve Griffith, secretary; and Bob Besecker, treasurer. We have found our activities as exciting as our dreams imagined them. The publication of the yearbook has proved to be a difficult but exciting task. The class play Head First , was a huge success. We have also sponsored the Homecoming activities. We are looking forward to the many activities yet to come. The Class of 1961, as we look back to the past four years, hope we have contributed something worthwhile, academically and socially, toward the traditions and memories of Bradford High School. As we are about to join the Alumni of this school we realize more fully that indeed ONE WHO FAILS TO PREPARE, PREPARES TO FAIL.
