The day finally arrived. Fifty-nine students were enrolled. Our class officers were Larry Drieling, president; Jean Sellers, vice president; Joyce Houser, secretary; and Nora Scalf, treasurer. Our advisor was Mr. Miller. Fifty-five students entered the Sophomore class with Mr. Ashworth as our advisor and Verlin Thompson as president; Fred Canan, vicepresident; Joyce Houser, secretary; and Nora Scalf, treasurer. We decorated a float for the Pumpkin Show and had the annual Sophomore Carnival. The Class of '60 entered the Junior year with an enrollment of forty-five students. Our advisors were Mr. Warner and Mr.Slonaker. The class officers were as follows: Fred Canan, president; Ramona Powell, vice president; Joyce Houser, secretary; and Nora Scalf, treasurer. During the year we sponsored a magazine sale and a stand at the Pumpkin Show. We also decorated a float. In the spring we presented our class play, The Hutchinsons' -Bless Them. Our biggest project for the year was the Junior-Senior Reception. Now the year we had been looking forward to for so long had arrived! An enrollment of thirty-eight students counted the days until graduation. Our class cabinet consisted of Fred Canan, president; Tom Moore, vice president; Joyce Houser, secretary; MaryGuisinger, treasurer; and Mr.Weimerand Mr. Hile, advisors. One of our biggest tasks was the production of this annual, The Railroader. We sponsored the annual Homecoming Dance. Among many other activities, we presented our class play, Once in Every Family. We are now waiting for that big day to arrive! We, the Senior Class of 1960, have enjoyed our days at Bradford High School, and we are sad that they are almost over. As we leave BHSfor the last time, we step into a world of opportunity; and we hope our motto, Today we follow, tomorrow we lead, is a challenge to all of us. 8 (graduating Class of 2960 JENNIE LEE BRETZ Birthday: September 4 Tri-Hi-Y 2,3,4; F H A 2; Homecoming Queen 4; Paper Staff 4; Class Play 3,4; Chorus 1,2,3,4; Band 1; Orchestra 1,2,3,4; Majorette 2,3; Head Majorette 4; GAA 3,4.
