A year later the same but perhaps not so eager students went into the second grade. There we had Mrs. Erledine Scribner as our teacher. Marcia Miller also joined us that year. Having got off to a good start we continued our progress in the third and fourth grade with Mrs. Gertrude Goodno. In fifth grade we welcomed two new students, Marian Aftuck, and Gary Clark, our teacher was Mrs. Ruth Allard. Our elementary education was completed in our sixth year at Bradford with Mr. Norman Katner as our teacher. Atthis time Richard Rosettie and Elliot Kriner joined us. Junior High proved exciting under the guidance ofMr. LeRoy Shannon. We welcomed to our growing class Sally Button, Dale Schmidt and Beverly Hilton, our present class now complet- ed. In our Freshman year we pioneered with activities. These included a roller-skating party, movie Black Gold and a trip to Eldridge Park. Our advisor was Mrs. Jane Kashmer. Our Sophomore year saw the class of '58 as veterans in the line of activities. With Mrs. Marie B. Cornell as our advisor. We sponsored a roller-skating party, turkey raffle, and a movie, Texas Rangers and Kiss for Corliss with a raffle following the movie on the same night. We also chose our class flower, an orchid. To finish our activities we ordered ont' class rings. With Mr. Donald Snyder as our advisor, the class of'58 in our Junior year sponsored a magazine sale. A new record was set in sales with approximately 31200. Following sales with our Junior play was entitled, Be Happy? Go Wacky? We also sponsored a circus and a roller-skating party. On October first we received our class rings. The end of our final year saw us as fresh young people ready to face the world. Beginning as Seniors we sponsored a record hop,Harvest Supper, and a play entitled The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. On April 4th we left for Washington and graduated onlune 20th.
