V Class H1 tory Labor Day had Just passed 1n the year of 1944 and Mxss Norma Marshfleld welcomed thtrteen joyous f1rst graders to Bradford Central School Of course all were eager to learn the fundamentals of school work Agam M1ss Marshfleld welcomed a growtng class of nmeteen to the second grade Upon reachmg the th1rd grade Mrs Helen Carman greeted fourteen fast travehng students to her room We passed on to the fourth grade w1th Mrs Gertrude H Goodno as teacher and a class of thlrteen Mrs Ruth Allard who served as our teacher 1n f1fth and slxth grades had a class of fourteen 1n flfth and twelve rn s1xth grade The f1rst s1x years helped to prepare us for ,Tumor H1gh School In September of 1950 Mr Roy Shannon started off w1th twenty four l'l'l1SChlBVOUS students ln the seventh grade and a class of twenty four 1n the elghth grade Dur1ng th1s ume Mr Shannon was preparmg us for h1gh school Entermg h1gh school we lost some students and garned some but st1ll the number remamed twenty four Our class off1cers were Pat Fero Prestdent Ellen Hotahng Vlce Pres1dent Kathleen Ellxson Secretary Dxcklieefer Treas urer w1th Mr Raymond J Thomas as advxsor a class of thlrteen We selected Pat Fero Presldent Kathleen Elhson Vxce Pres1dent Phyllls Ganoung Secretary and D1ck Keefer as Treasurer As Jumors we were left wtth a class of n1ne students Mrs Phylhs Hamm was our adv1sor and Mrs Shxrley Kohena was an ass1stant adv1sor Our off1cers were D1Ck Keefer Presldent Pat Fero V1ce Presrdent Phylhs Ganoung Secretary and Cleda Goltrw Treasurer In the fall of 1955 we came back to rehve our good old school days as Semors The class had decreased to smx members We elected Mr Alden Se1fr1ed as adv1sor and Drck Keefer Prestdent Pat Fero V1ce Presxdent Phylhs Ganoung Secretary and Mary Ellen Bonarslu as Treasurer As a whole the Semor class would hke to thank everyone for thexr co operauon generous support and understand1ng wh1ch has helped and encouraged us throughout our school xears We entered our Sophomore year with Mr. Malcolm Neiley as advisor and
