“ Senior H1 tor In the fall of September 1942, fifteen eager 'kids' started their long journey through school Our first grade teacher was Hlss'Inn 0'Rai1ly Second grade soon crept up, with Miss Norma Marshfield as our teacher Our grade numbered nine atthat time Mrs Dorothy Coolbaugh greeted our eager third grade class of sixteen 1 A.member of our present class, Richard Huey, Joined X f s In fourth grade our class numbered twenty one, with Hrs Dorothy Emery as teacher Three more present day students joined us Eva Eldridge, Valentine Kono 1, ski, and Grant Simons In fifth grade we had fifteen students, with Hrs Ruth Vickers as teacher Sixth grade brought Mrs Ruth Allard as teacher and fourteen students Here we watched with eager eyes at the seventh grade going past, upstairs to Hr Shannon Then, came Junior high seventh grade with sixteen students and Hr Shan non as teacher That year at the Cheerleaders carniv we had penny toss We entered eighth grade with twelve stu dents and Mrs Helen Carman as teacher Here we got our preliminary certificates and be came on a play, 'Buddy Answers An Ad' We started ur Fresh men year and wanted to start earning money fast, but found that high school was no 'snap' but alot of hard work Our class num- bered twelve Here Lee Ellison and Dean Bedient Joined us We chose our officers Barbara Bocek President, Carrie E11 Hayes, Vice President, Dorothy Harrian, Secretary, Eva Eldridge, Treasurer, and Miss Clara Worden as Advisor In our Sophomore year we continued our money u ventures by presenting a play, 'Along Came Char11s', W Q chose our officers Valentine Konopski President, Richard Huey, Vice President, Barbara Bocek Secre ary, Duane Fleet, Treasurer, and Advisor, Hr Theodore Surowka We had eleven students members In our Junior year our money making projects were magazine sales, a play, 'Good Gracious Grandma', and a dance Here our class numbered ten and James Win slow Joined us We chose our officers , Richard Huey, President, Valentine Konopskl, Vice Presl 1 dent, Bar bara Bocek, Secretary, Dean Bedlent, Trea surer, and Kr Burowka, Advisor Now has come our las and most im portant year Our present class numbered ine, three girls and six boys Once again we elected class officers Val entlne Konopski, President, Richard Huey, Vice President, Canrie Ella Hayes, Secretary, Dean Bed1ent,Treasurer, Hrs Sara Drehmer, Advisor Among our final money making activities for our trip to Washington, D C are Annual Harvest Supper with a profit of S127 57, a dance, Christmas Card sales, and a play We are looking for ward with great eagerness to our Senior Trip to Washington, D C To 311 who have helped us, especially our parents and teachers we thank you for your guidance and cooperation through some of the happiest years of our lives O O I S - f 1' c' 1' cs g ' u . - e ' F : S e O . .
