ANNALS News from the Old Girls HE members of the Class of 1910 are for the most part following the renowned custom of Bradford girls after they leave school, namely, that of staying at home and teaching a Sunday-school 01335, There are some exceptions to this rule, however, in the persons of Louise Field and Hazel Howe, who are attending Vassar College, Alice Page, who is at Mount Holyoke, this year, and Katharine Morse who is attend- ing the Normal School at Bridgewater. Helen Watson and Elegmgf Lovell are in Boston, the former studying art at the Normal Art School, and the latter studying vocal music with Mrs. Hunt. 1 Ethel Lowenstein also spent a part of the winter in Boston, study- ing at the New England Conservatory of Music. Ethel Fifield passed a most enjoyable and profitable summer in Europe. Margaret Pond has been putting some of her knowledge gained at Bradford to practical use by teaching school in the ,town of Williamsville. Among other old girls we hear that Helen Wadsworth and Marion Foster are at Mount Holyoke, while Helen Wallace and Norma Kastl are at Smith. Hazel Hall has entered the Freshman class at Wellesley. Cf the 1911 girls who did not return this year, Margaret Ham is studying music with Arthur Foote in Boston, and Mary Anderson is attending the University of Colorado at Bowlder, while Laurel Dickinson is preparing for kindergarten work. Betty Hyndman is teaching school in Newburgh, N.Y., and Clara Remingtonais doing library work in Auburn, N.Y. The 1909 girls are engaged in various occupations. Helen Davis and Elizabeth Jones are both abroad, and also Ruth Jenkins, who is studying in Paris. Nell Irwin is studying vocal music with Mrs. Hunt in Boston. , Edith Merrill was married last fall to Mr. B. Wallace. Dorothy Harris has also recently been married to H. Paul Buckingham and is living in Worcester. Ruth Whited has been made treasurer of the Student Organization at Vassar, a very unusual honor for a Sophomore. Ethel Connor is attending Simmons College. Frances Chadwick, a member of the Special Class, 1906, has been President of the New England Bradford Academy Club the past year. Miriam Loder, one of the 19061 girls, after graduating from WellesleY in 1910, married Mr. james W.
