T1'6CLS'bL7'61' N unusual amount of interest has been shown in athletics this yearf The plan, adopted two years ago, of having the Seniors, with their sister class, the Sophomores, contend against the Juniors, assisted by the Freshmen, has been carried out with great success. Besides the regular contests in hockey and basket-ball, there have been volley-ball and many other games in the gymnasium, all of which have tended to keep up class spirit. Hockey T As usual, the hockey practice began almost as soon as school opened. Before long, class teams were chosen, and the girls settled down to serious work. The class games resulted in a victory for the Seniors. November second was the day decided upon for the annual game between Abbot and Bradford. It was played on the Abbot field, and on account of the darkness the second half had to be shortened. The score was 6 to 4 in favor of Bradford, a victory which was all the greater an event because for the last two years Bradford has lost. HocKEY SUBsT1TUTEs 48
