ANNALS The College Club + E are very glad to be able to say that the hopes of last year's College Club have been realized, inasmuch as several girls, who were then in the General Course, are now College Preps. Increased by many new girls, the College Club this year has almost doubled its size, and holds a prominent place in the school. At the Hrst of the year Miss Knott entertained us in her room, on which occasion Miss Roblee, of Vassar, told us many interesting things about that college in particular, and gave us some good advice in regard to college life in general. Wie all left with a firmer deter- mination than ever to do our best in preparing for the college life that is going to mean so much to us. Later in the term Miss Sperry talked to us about the same college, and many of us felt a warm glow in our hearts at the thought that we would some time be Alumnae of Vassar. After we had organized, our President, Louise Cooper, gave a tea in her room, at which we all had a most enjoyable, time. During the second term, the College Club entertained the school at a Shadow Party in the gymnasium, followed by dancing. A talk by Miss Talpey of Wellesley, ably seconded by Miss Lord, both old Bradford girls, was much appreciated, and then it was the Wellesley girls' turn to feel glad that that college was to be their Alma Mater. Before the end of the year we hope to have girls from other colleges talk to us, also. . The Club, this year, is well united, and all are enthusiastically striving to surpass the records of former years in scholarship and spirit. Thus we are working towards our final goal, linowing full well that however dear our College may become to us, our love for it can never surpass that which we bear for dear old Bradford. i , E. M.
