ANNgALS damsels of our tale crept 'neath the balcony of their beloved precep- tress and chanted, full lusty, their love and loyalty for her. Anon the honorable Sopho- mores prepared a feasting for their sisters and herewith we must make mention of the love the Senior damsels of 1911 hold for the kindly Sophomores. Great cheer and joy was in their hearts and all made merry and the joy waxed high and strong. Then the Lady Katharine did call together all the damsels, and they resorted unto her and she spoke to them saying, Gird up thy gowns and gather together the cakes and all manner of sustenance and prepare a feast. For it was the custom in those days for the Seniors' to hold a feasting among themselves. Then it fell that the damsels were sore abashed, and there rose great dole and sorrow that they had no room wherein to meet and visit with each other. Full fain were they to have this room. So they went and asked one having authority and their petition was granted. This pleased them right well and their hearts were made glad. Then it happened on a day in winter that the juniors bade the Seniors make merry with them at a feasting. Anon, therewithal, they rode with glad hearts to Bald Pate and it is well said, that Juniors did never make as glad the hearts of Senior' damsels as did these fair ones. There was danc- ing and minstrelsy and great re- joicing. And withal the Seniors rode in good peace. And love was deep in the hearts of all the damsels. And then the Seniors held their play and it was a good play and right worthy of the damsels who gave it. V And as 1 draw near to the end of this historie, I say the hearts of all the Senior damsels have been made glad and their love has waxed strong for the other damsels gathered at Bradfordensis Aca- demia and they are full aware that when they take leave of each other and depart, their work will be carried on toward completion by the valiant juniors and this word they leave: that the honor and tradition of Bradfordensis Aca- demia which has endured for many, generations must be sus- tained and increased throughout all the ages that follow.
