CLASS PROPHECY After a lapse of twenty five years the class of 38 has planned to have one more class meeting on a tropical island somewhere in the Pacific All details of the re union have been left to the genius of W H Palmer who has left his seat on Wall Street long enough to gather up a few of his classmates to set sail for the island where some of the class have already gathered Our boat the Joanna Curry owned by Alvah Chapman is guided skill fully through the blue waters by Admiral Clemens man of the mountains because of his famous song hit Take Me Back To The Hills with J C Garrison and Jack Cheshire who are now making millions autographing photographs for the famous movie comedlenne Ruth Pirman From the diner drifts the swing music of Meyers and his all girl band composed of Betty Griggs Zoa Thompson Cleo Mixon Grace Weichman Ruth Baker Elna Smith Blanche Coe Louise Alderman lVlint1e Ruth Swann and the Grimes Twins The ships gigolo Wallace Perkins is seen dancing the next tango with Doris Snow of Snow and Guthrie dancmg team The lights are turned low and the next number is the song hit of the week Jack Armstrong sings the vocal and all the feminine hearts on deck beat a little faster The tempo changes and the chorus dance is on composed of Edith Floyd Sara Nell Duffey Violet Peckover Carolyn Harrell Hildreth Minor and the lVlcCally twins all dressed in grass skirts. The lights flash on and at a nearby table Selma Jenkins the great opera singer is chatting with the great criminal lawyer Gordon Knowles of the firm of Knowles and Earnshaw. Knowles s two secretaries Carolyn Gar- rison and Georgia Gates and his body guard Buck Mayo are seated at a table near the main entrance. During the still of the night the small yacht makes good time and with the rising sun is within vievx of the irregular coast of the islands. Whats that com- ing along the deck so early in the morning? It looks like a Sunday School picnic and sounds like the thundering herd but as they come closer we see it s only Marian and Paul and all the little Councils. -. ff .x 1 BM MukgJ . .W uj EJ E, w1M'.v lu ,,r' 5-f 'l'-ifwlwgtcm As we wander around the boat we see Jimmy Livingston, now called the old
