,i..llT-1.-- - ..i CLASS HISTORY As the class of IQ38 is about to bring its four years to an eventful close we recall a few of the exciting adventures that have beset us During our first year we vsere guided by the office through the harrowing experiences of being a Freshman We soon aftervy ards learned that the only thing The jaunt to Mrs Murphy s ranch will be remembered as an enjoyable time to all During the summer vye eagerly looked forward to the trials and tribulations that awaited a sophomore the office taking a keen delight in initiating us The teachers vs ho had been so helpful last year vyere present again to guide us through the pitfalls Condit Grayes was our master at the helm this year Being fairly well behaved during our first year we were out to see what would happen and had the thrill of sitting in detention halls until we learned better Roy Parker was host at his beach cottage to a group of impressionable soph omores this year the first dose of sunburn being little heeded in the pleasure of the occasion Our third entrance was under the expert guidance of Bill l-lovi ard and we had the excruciating pains of being Juniors. May 7 was our evening for showing the upperclassmen what junior social life was really like and ey eryone went home happy but tired from the reception at the Country Club. Our last year was packed with glamour and excitement for everyone and vye were successfully held to the grindstone by W. H. Palmer. The underclassmen behaved themselves very well and stayed in school to attend to their respectiye duties during the annual picnic, thus sacrificing the pleasure of entertaining the teachers over a period of seyeral weeks in detenion hall.
