AT EVERY END THERE’S A BEGINNING The sun sets at dusk Yet it shall rise again at dawn. Kindergarten has come to an end First grade will be different— Harder to adjust to, but I will make it. Soon first will be over and second will start. It can't be as bad as they say, I will make it. June is here, second grade's over. After vacation things will begin. Fourth and fifth will follow soon, The time passes so quickly. Yet, at every end there's a beginning . . . Sixth grade's here and gone. A new building and new faces, My first year in Junior High. I'll work hard and make it through. Just getting used to the seventh grade— It's finished, and now I must move on. Eighth grade I enjoyed very much. At every end there's a beginning . . . But it's time to move on. I'm starting my first year in high school — How exciting! New sports and organizations to join Starting to date and going to parties. Tenth is here bringing new ideas, Making one more aware Eleventh is much the same, except for the prom— The biggest dance in high school, the most important too. Twelfth, oh my goodness my very last year. So much to do— The Trip, Banquet, Senior Morning, and the Play Gotta go, it's my farewell party. All these things to say good bye to . . . Graduation night, shaking like a leaf My diploma, I have it. The tears are shed tonight— So many memories But at every end there's a beginning . . . You have a life time ahead of you.
