Dear Seniors, In spite ot the frequent necessity in wartimes ot saying goodbye to dear friends, each new parting brings sorrow. Brackenridge will miss your presence and your intluence. In asking you not to forget me, I shaII quote some Iines which I have adapted trom a poem by W'aIter Adams: Remember me as one who tried To make your worId a bit more wideg As one who yearned to smooth the way And aid your progress day by day, Remember me as one who sought To give your wings-strong wings ot thought. Thought that will give you power to do The work in Iite God meant tor you. Wiala Mane P11 gr' 1.4

Do you really know what goes on in the attendance office? One can hardly know until he has worked in the office at least one full term. l believe all of the girls who work there will say they learn something new aloout it every day. The attendance office is not just a place where you go when you want to go home because student records of different kinds are kept here, including all absentees. When a student is discrepant from a class, Mrs. Foerster has one of the assistants make a call slip for this student and he is sent for the next day to give an account of his absence. Discrepant slips are collected each period of the day and then checked in the attendance office. Some students rnay consider this office unnecessary, but if they were to work here they would readily change their minds. fflafulan Quglcm
