March the second, military units of Texas Military Institute, Main Avenue, and Brackenridge high schools came together To compete for high school honors. The Alexander Joske Cup went to T. M. I. as The best-drilled unitg The National Regimental Colors came to Brackenridge as the Second best. Two silver loving cups Came to our Bandg one for being the Best drilled, and the other for having The highest inspection averages. In the Individual drill T. M. I. won first place, But Brackenridge took second and Third places. T. M. I. took the honors In the tug 0' war, and relay races. men who received medals are called Medalmen. They organized, and the President Was Hilliard Hightowerg Vice President, Robert Fullerg Secretary-Treasurer, Fred Sernaan. These boys gave a dance at K. of C. Hall, honoring the basket ball boys, in Which a contest was held to see who Was to lead the Grand March. The Winners were Aline Williams, and Allen Wright. In March, new officers Were elected: Howard Huber, President, Fred Semaan, Vice Presidentg Leonard Cook, Secretary-Treasurer.
