Molenda, secretary-treasurer. The Student Council meets every Wednesday to discuss problems ot the school, talce directives back to the homerooms, and vote on certain ac- tivities which they sponsor. During the year the homecoming parade and dance were featured. The band is shown here marching in the parade. The lineup ot cots was pictured from the balcony of the gym where almost every student over 18 years old donated a pint of blood. The Student Council, under the faculty supervision of Mr. R. DeRoo, Mr. E. Grosslcopt, and Mr. H. Wolff, promoted this very successful event. The other picture shows the excellent result of the sponsorship ot the Hospital Fund campaign. More than S100 was donated by the students, and Mr. Roberts, President ot Allis-Chalmers Mtg. Com- pany, was more than satisfied with the results. He is shown receiving the money from T. Tech's entry in the city conference was a blue ribbon performance. The Purple finished with a tie for second in the city and sixth in the state tourna- ment at Wauwatosa. Individual performances were marked by stellar play by Carl Dentice and Tom Breunig. Dentice was undefeated in city and non- conference play, losing only the state championship game to Wally Jensen of Wauwatosa.
