September, 1946 found us eager to begin our last year of school. Now that werwere Seniors, we had only twenty-one classmates left, but decided to make the best of it. Again we agreed our class dues should be twenty-five cents a month. During our Senior year we sold candy at noon time, as is the usual custom. We also sold a wide variety of cards at Christmas time. Later in the year came the magazine sale, sponsored by the Curtis Publishing Co. he made a large profit on this. Sally Lyter sold the most magazines, and Nancy Lilbert came in second. Certificates of Lchievement were presented to six members ef the class: Louise hikels, Sally Lyter, Nancy Leu Milbert, Deris Lebo, Jackie Blesser, and Betty Killinger For our Literary we had two one-act plays, ada Gives First Aid , and It's a Date plus a monologue, Oh1 Gee! Gosh! by Marlin Mc Shane. Near the end of the year class meetings were held more often. he made plans for our year book and ordered supplies. he also had to decide on the pictures we wanted for the Boyeran. he had quite a bit of difficulty in se- lecti ng our class flowers. These suggested were: red rose, yellow rose, and sweet peas. After voting several times we finally decided on the sweet pea. For our class motte we chose The Horizon Suidens As he Climb.
