Senior Class Poem Now we are Seniors at Boydton High; Yet we haven ' t the heart to cheer, For all of us are mighty sad That graduation time is so near. It seems no more than yesterday That we Seniors began our school life. Eleven short years have since passed by, Preparing us for a rich, full life. Happy were our merry parties and trips, Happy the dances and other things. We tried to shun all toil and trouble, To live the life of queens and kings. Now we must leave our very dear school And take our places in the world; We take along our cherished thoughts Which on our hearts shall lie unfurled, We take along a treasured gift No force on earth from us can lift.
