Were it not for this person, your Echo might still be a picture book without a story, a mere copy of last year’s and the year before. She intro¬ duced idea afte: idea: a theme, action shots in the class sections, an index, a faculty directory, outstanding seniors, etc., etc. Her sincere interest in your year¬ book can be noted by her personal initiative. She was the first to have the Echo professionally criticized. Each summer she attends a yearbook symposium in Chapel Hill. The magazine drive reached a record goal under her leadership this year. It is with great appreciation for her tireless work as advisor that the Echo staff dedicates the 1965-66 Echo to MRS. MARY GARRISON
