Dedication Our friend. Miss Catherine Whitener She gives freely of her time to improve student-teacher re¬ lations. The 1964 Echo Staff proudly dedicates this yearbook to a teacher who holds the love, highest respect, and confidence of every student at Boyden High School. With a Masters Degree in English, she is one of the most intelligent and capable teachers here. Her devotion and interest in her work is shown by the extra time and effart that she gives to her students. She offers a bright, warm smile, understanding, and friendship to everyone. Her love for her stu¬ dents is equaled only by her students ' love for her. She works quietly, diligently, and efficiently as adviser to the Student Council. As a token of our admiration, we dedicate this, the 1964 Echo, to Miss Catherine V. Whitener. 2
