Our conversation was interrupted by the entrance of my old friend Marjorie Englesnan She informed me that she and Harold had recently purchased the old Boyden Hatchery and moved it to Washington Ave,,formerly known as the Boyden Junk Yard Having thoroughly remodeled and enlarged it, it is now known as the 'Lazy Rooster' chicken ranch Margie invited me down for chicken dinner on Sunday so I could get acquainted with the kids all six of them qunday came and I went along to church with Kuyper's Much to my surprise I found the newly inst 'led minister to be none else than Steve Den Herder He and the Mrs also were dinner guests of the Kuyp r's and I drove with them to the 'Lazy Rooster' in his old '31 Chevy Josephine' Later Margie told me that the congregation is planning to present him with a new Lincoln in the future Bright and early Monday morning I vent to the Farmers Savings Bank to get some Travelers Cheques The former Delores Rowenhorst was there at the same time bringing Cliff a mid morning snack H has to get in every spare moment and they have to economizelin order to make out with eight 'Cliff and Delores' juniors That night I attended the concert in the Boyden City H ll by Roy Rosenboom and his all girl Symphony Orchestra from the Women's college of St Louis After the concert I talked to the 'maestro' and found out that he also teaches voice and ballet It took a little time for nls ability to blossom After the concert I took the taxi to my lodgings at the Sleep 'r Rest Motel and it's all that the name implies The owner is the former Lois Stegemann who inherited it from her aunts Lois re modeled it and it is now a prosperous business Sometime back she married a wealthy traveling salesman and as a result there are 'Sleep 'r Rest' Motels in every major city in the U S so that he will always feel at home Bye now, Alice Y-F rw -rvww f' 6 s SMWNMMGQMIASMSMRMUAEM.UMQIHXMSMM51 lb!!!
