I noticed somebody ahead thumbing that it was none other than Jelen Noland We got to talking about old times and was driving along I drew near T saw I picked her up wlat had happened to all our old school mates delen in that Clarence Qtone was runnin for Governor of Colorado As we were driving through Minneapolis we noticed a big used car lot and we were not to surprised as the owners were Lionel K gan and his assistant Merle Robinson Later while whizzing through the city a hdge building cauglt our attention Looking closer we saw a sign saying Ronald oundlach City Editor of the Sun Times After driving all morning we were getting hungry so we stopped at Alfred Schmidts Ford garage and asked if he knew of a nice place to eat He said he heard that Alfred Jones was opening a Cafe in Pierre, Qoutr Dakota and that today was to be his grand opening So we thought we would try it Just before stopping at the Cafe we not iced a sign saying Merlin Brooks rishery, 5 miles W Helen bought a newspaper and as we glanced at the headlines my eye caught the name Ruby Rowe ambassador to Italy As we read fur ther on we saw that Dusan Blaho, now a great violinist, was playing at the Star 'ight Opera Uouse with Doris Schutts accompanying him a Wa e on the piano After reading that article about Ruby I asked she had heard what Nvla was doing now Much to my surprise me that Nyla was now the head of the Ma shall Field 8 Co delen if she told Retail store in Chicago missed the race, we got there lust in time to find t e race he stopped a moment to chat with us He informed us that Betty Stuart was now unn ng the Oak Inn Night Club and that De lca ss had taken over the Blue Diamond We told ayne that we woul have to be on our Hay and l ft him with h1s racer Rambo came in first Even though he was very tired after While driving along we approached a huge dairy farm It was no surprise to us to find out that the owner was Bo Dotseth Helen re marked that she had heard that Richard Boda had a large arm not too far from Bob's wke e he was raising beef cattle s 3 W ' f ', . a id , As I .
