The first few weeks were easy, but soon we learned that high school was a place to study and to form good study habits. In November Judy Burnside returned to Wisconsin. The freshmen didn't mind the initiation so much as the sopho- mores expected them to, but they probably have a severe aversion to green cake coloring now. The time will come, though, when they can take their spite out on another group of freshmen. We have two boys on the basketball team, Dickie Corcoran and Donald Freier.
