Not shown 18 Pat Burnside 1 7 Clara Charles Faechner Rosette Johnny Burke Corcoran Allen President--Clara Faechner Sec.-Treas. ---- Johnny Corcoran Vice-Pres.---Pat Burnside Advisor---Mrs. Abbie Williamson Eight inexperienced but eager students entered their freshmen year on Sept. 3, l9h8 . They were Mary Agnes Gardipee, Alice Mitchell, Walter Denny, Johnny Corcoran Charles Rosette, Burke Allen, Mary Jane Boushie, and Clara Faechner. The eight freshmen, who were looking forward to initi- ation found that the ten speedy sophomores had planned it very well. The sophomore sponsor, Mr. Hess, did very well in seeing that the freshmen carried out the orders of the sophomores. The freshmen felt slightly ill from the lunch the sophomores fed them, but they recovered and were in school the next day. The second week in school they gave a mixer for the sophomores in return for the initia- tion party. During the first semester, Pat Burnside of Wisconsin joined us and Walter Denny, Mary Agnes Gardipee, Alice Mitchell, and Mary Boushie left us to go to school in Rocky Boy. That leaves us a total of five members, who are looking forward to initiation next year when they will be giving the orders. --Clara Faechner
