V A ccomplishment ln the new light of self-confidence, we see the very universe as a challenge. We are eager to set new and higher goals and to attain a greater degree of perfection in all we do. Incorporated with this enthusiasm, the confidence of others-teachers, parents, friends-encourages determination to prove our own merit. Determination leads to oc- complishment, the reward of confidence, and the many aspects of worthy achieve- ment are enmeshed in the transition from child to young adult.

A ccomlblislzment Strengthens We gain character through accomplishment. Not only scholastic achievement, but also through the trial and error of daily living. , Every error is a stepping stone because it makes us more aware of the right and wrong way of doing things and this, indeed, is progress. Worthwhile accomplishment of- t ten requires sacrifice, but those who make significant contributions through effort and perseverance are rewarded with the satis- , faction of a iob well done.
