E. L. Bowsher Superintendent, Toledo Public Schools 1937-1958 Bowsher High School is proud to bear the respected name of E. L. BOWSHER. Through the years Mr. Bowsher has achieved distinction as an outstanding leader in civic proiects. The determination by which he undertakes proiects gains him the respect and admiration of his fellow citizens. As Superintendent of the Toledo Public Schools in the years 1937 to 1958, Mr. Bowsher's accomplishments are fully rec- ognized by this community. His striving to perfect the school system has shown that he is a dedicated pub- lic servant. We enjoy numerous achievements in our school system today because of Mr. Bowsher's strong leadership. As a modern new building, Bowsher High School is under the careful observance of the Toledo Board of Education. Their supervision and guidance has given us a school system of which we can be proud.
