Yet it lives. ln the accomplishments, the honors won, the fragments of dreams, the broken hearts, the senior's good-bye, the freshman's hello, that year lives on in memories. Time's eraser can clear things from the year's blackboard. But the writing still shows, however faintly. Let this book be the key to those memories. For a moment the seriousness of education is forgotten and laughter rises to the sur- face. Then the smiles fade, the lectures re- sumes, and education continues. their shape.
