For the first time a preferential ballot was used in the class elections. The student body felt that the Student Council needed revising so the members began the investigation and discussion of other plans of student government in an attempt to make necessary changes. ln order to familiarize next year's council members with their duties, the old and new members met together for the last meetings of the year. ln the past an entirely new council was installed each fall and no previous members were present to as- sist in organization. Through this method it was hoped the new council would have a better opportunity to get their work started immediately.
