ACTIVITIES Throughout the school year, all of the clubs at B.G.H.S. were very active. Probably the biggest club event was the Bobcat Carnival, sponsored by the Stue dent Council. Each club had some kind of booth or activity which served the dual purpose of raising money for the organization and providing entertain- ment for the student body. In addition to the Carnival, Student Council again sponsored Homecoming, Pep Week, the Food Drive, and a Student Forum, Of course, the concession stand was open to satisfy the hungry students with candy, chips, pop, and other goodies, lt was also an exciting year for our nurses, home- makers, and farmers who worked hard on different proiects and celebrated the end of the year with a banquet. Many clubs also engaged in travel as the Future Farmers went to Kansas City and the Spanish and French Clubs planned summer trips to Europe. As a humorous source of entertainment, the Drama Club presented two comedies, You Can't Take It With You and Life With Father. To keep the school informed on these activities and others, the Scarlet Parrot staff published the school paper every two weeks. The spirit was high, the time was right, and the clubs took advantage of this by making the past year a very successful one. , .. ' ,',..r W ,Mr 95 fi' 3
