I PRINCIPAL Forty-eight years ago. Ernest Littleton began teaching in a one-room country school. During the summer, he studied at Miami University and received an A.B. degree. His first administrative iob was in Risingsun as principal for four years. He was superintendant of the Rossford schools for two years and the Columbus schools for nine years. After twenty years of experience, he came to Bowling Green Iunior High where he has been principal for twenty-eight years. Through him the iunior and senior high schools now have a rifle club and also an efficient home room guidance plan. Mr. Littleton as a coordinator for the High School Princi- pa1's discussion groups in Ohio, is the coordinator of the Fremont, Defiance, and Toledo area. For this work, Mr. Littleton will be recognized in the 1958 edition of Who's Who ln The Midwest. About his work at Bowling Green, Mr. Littleton com- ments. Twenty-eight years of working here with iunior high youth have been a most rewarding and satisfying experience. She helps to plan each student's schedule for the next year, answers the phone. takes care of the mail and handles the one thousand and one other problems that come up in the office.
