GEORGE KEY - George is shy until you become acquainted with him and then everyone agrees that he is a swell person to know. He had done his part in making BHS the best. HERSCHEL KIMBROUGH - Herschel is mis- chievous and has a ready smile which will take him far. He is interested in all sports, but ex- cells inbasketball. He is usually onhand to help with all class activities. RHEA FAYE MCCLURE - Rhea Faye is a sweet girl who is interested in creative work. We appreciate her ability and admire her ambition. She is like d by all and is credited with many close friends. WAYNE MCCONNELL - Wayne ha s a pleasing smile and you can bet your life his past time isn't studying. His favo rite subject is agri- culture. l 1 . 1 DONNA HOWIE - A ve ry important worker of the class. Being business manager of the annual is only one of the many jobs which she handles efficiently. She is one of the spark plugs of the Travel Club. BENNY HUDDLESTON - Although he is new, he has already entered into the senior activities and has become an outstanding worker of the class. He is good at making friends and once he makes them he keeps them. IANICE JACKSON - Atruly outstanding person- ality. There are few people who can equal her in friendliness. Entering into many different fields, she excells in all. RONAL JONES - Mercy Mr. Percy have pity on Miss Kelsay. I-Ie learned that shorthand though. Ronal is a carefree yet dependable fellow who enjoys participating in all the class ac- tivities.

1 R. L. HEUGATTER - R. L., a guy with a big smile for everyone, is outstanding in agriculture and a leader in F.F.A.work. His favorite past time is to get a joke off on his friends. BOBBIE HICKMAN DORMAN - Bobbie is a good- natured person who is combining school work with married life. She has a co-operative manner which claims many friends for her. SUE HILBURN - A musically talented girl who is constantly on call for selections in our assemblies. Her active sense of humor makes her a popular member of the class. GENE HOFFMAN - Gene is a faithful worker of the c 1 a s s and is always willing to help on any project. Her pretty red hair sets off her viva- cious personality. BILLY DON HARRIS - Anyone who knows him credits him with a ready wit and mischievous personality. He is a real asset to BHS. VIRGINIA HARRIS - She is everyone's friend and an active member of the Travel Club. Virginia, our faithful editor in chief of the Jackrabbit Staff, takes an interest in all of it's work. ERNEST SAM HEARD - An industrious student. Among his many interests are band, debate, work on the Annual Staff, and incorrect spelling. You'll always find Ernest Sam working inthe con- cession stands at any basketball game. VIRGINIA HENSON - At fir st Virginia seems quiet and shy, but on a short acquaintance it is apparent that this girl has a winsome personality topped only by her quick wit. Cissy is a very capable worker in the Travel Club.

HENDERSON MOREHEAD - Though Buddy has only been here since his junior year, he has made ahit with all the kids. He is just what his name implies,a Buddy to all. I-Ie's noted for his wonderful smile. RONNIE MORRIS - One of the more talkative members of the senior class who seems to get more places in one day than anyone else in school. His spectacular drumming has become a Hallmark of our band. FRANCES MORTON - C ute and sweet, with a wonderful personality, that's our Frances. As drum major of the band and student body presi- dent, she hasloadsofwork but is never too busy for a smile for her classmates. IRETA OVERSTREET - Bowie High would be a dull place without Ireta's giggle. She always sees the sunny for is it funnyj side of life. She's got an encouraging word for everyone and a pleasant hello for one and all. Nui LORNA SUE MCLELAND - Alw a y s willing to helpherfellow classmates. She has a smile for everyone andis an earnest member of our girls' basketballteam. Whenitcomestogrades Lorna Sue is tops. SHIRLEY MCLENDON - The life of the crowd! We just wouldn't know it was Shirley if she was quiet. She has a wonderful personality and seems to enjoy life to the utmost. STEVE MCNATT - Steve has beenwith the class for quite a while. He likes to joke a lot and spends his time doing just that. CURTIS MONROE - Curtis is tall and slim and is often very quiet, but can actually talk all day. He is another important member of the basket- ball squad.
