These men are chosen for great tasks, and great tasks await those who assume the responsibilities of making the plans and decisions for the following years. The inexperienced Jackrabbit team of 1950 went through a successful season considering that there were very few who saw much action last year. The first game was played with Pleasant Grove at Bowie. The Bowie lads were two touch- down unde r do g s, but when the game was over it was a 13-13 deadlock. The Rabbits then went to Ranger where the Bulldogs evened the score from last year to the tune of 37-12. In the next game Bowie won its first c onfe r enc e game by defeating Handley Z5-13. Bowie came from behind in the following game to defeat Decatur 16-13. Bowie was host to Bird- ville in the next game when they tas ted their first confer enc e loss by a s cor e ofZ5- 13. Then Bowie went to Jacksboro for a hard fought game that ended in a 13-13 tie. T h e Rabbits traveled to Henrietta for the next game and it also ended in a tie, 0-0. Newcastle came to Bowie next and beat the Bowie boys Z0-7. The next game was hard fought all the way but Diamond Hill came out on top 6-0. For the Rabbits last game, they journeyed over to Nocona for the most important game of the season. They came home with their fina 1 victory of 12- 6. ' . ,H ' f ' N H' -fr. 1, x ,mea X X N Tia fi--.
