Posey, VieeePresidentg and Kern n Conrad. The Board of Education has shown its untiring efforts in many ways this year. The student body wishes to take this means of thanking them for their improvements in and around our school. As a result of their endeavors several improvements stand as evi- dence. A few of these are: a new grandstand on the football field, new football equipment, the sodding of the football field, the box-office and gate at the entrance, the new parking lot near the field, and the building of a garage apartment to house the school busses and serve as a home for the janitor Students: 'Service Above Self' is the key to 1 success- ful earner. 'Be noble and the noble- ness that lies In other men, sleeping but never dead, Will rise in majesty to meet thine own.' Sincerely J. B. Lewis Our principal, J. B. Lewis, has directed our work so as to make this school year one of the most worth while in the history of B. H. S, His sense of humor has caused us to enjoy our school life more dents are highly intelligent persons. Intelligent minds are demanding the truth daily Your'thinking is becoming clar- ified by waking redigeevgrieg that have been found by others who have gone before you lou are in school because you are willing to pay the price in study and in labor suffi- cient to master the known field of the worker's interest. Along with these fine qualities you have exhibited as a student body one of the finest co- operative spirits with which it has ever been my pleasure to become associated. Tou have been fine in the manner in which you have received we as your Superintendent. I Wish to state that I nm as fond of you as you have seem- ingly been of me and my yenr's work has been a most pleasant one. 'Lou Bowie High School stu- Tours very sincerely Walter B.
