Liberty l Then we traveled to Plymouth and were unable to rattle the bats as we were shut out. Bowen came back to lose to Augusta as the defense fell through. Bowen played their best game of the year when they beat Central 1-O. Max Scott pitched a beautiful game with Bowen getting their lone run in the 7th inning on a hit and run play where Hogan hit a double to score Scott all the way from first base. Liberty came next and Bowen won 3-1. It was too good to be true as Ply- mouth wallopped us 12-I+. We got another winning streak going, taking two from Colusa. After about a week layoff we traveled to Liberty and suffered our fifth defeat. We are looking forward to a much better Spring season. . .,-,. ,-,...l..,,ll.,, ....- .., , I..
