Then we were fortunate enough to get Mrs. Ava Giles from Carthage at the end of the first six weeks. Our chorus this year consists of ahput forty members: of these, eleven are boys. The different groups taken from the chorus are: the Senior Boys Quartet, the Senior Mixed Quartet, the Senior Sextette, the Girls Triple Trio, the Senior Mixed Octette, and the Freshmen Boys Quartet. The chorus has appeared at several activities such as the Halloween Masquerade: the World Day of Prayer, February 175 The Hancock County Music Festival at Carthage, February 2: and the Chorus Contest at Bushnell, April 7. This year at the Music Festival, the group was divided into two chorus', the A Chorus and the B Chorus. we were fortunate enough to have eleven Seniors placed in the A Chorus.
