In attempting improvement, it has been far from the idea of the editors to follow the lines of mere enlargement. As a publication by the students, the aim has been to portray the phases of college life at Bowdoin in a manner attractive to our friends without the college. As an annual forthe students, much has been attempted to make it of especial interest to those now directly connected with the college and to the alumni.
