Second Graders Explore The Community Second graders were busy learning about their community and visited the following places: Post Office, Library, Museum, Fire Station, Ambulance, Rope Factory, and Bank. The second graders completed several projects during the year. One project was learning how to paint with liquid embroidery. Their Christmas projects included deco- rating their tree with hand-made ornaments and making wishing wells for the parents. Besides learning how to do math problems, they wrote a let- ter to their friends, and they also learned how to address the enve- lope.
