FRESHMEN MAKE NECESSARY Kendall Aldinger Gail Bauer Candice Bieber Glenn Blumhardt Richard Carlson Marcia Dewald Lanet Eisenbeisz Bonnie Feickert The Freshmen class began their high school life much like any other Freshmen class. Their main Responsibil- ities consisted of cleaning up after the bonfire and home- coming dance. The boys energetically participated in football, basketball, band and chorus. They were required to take shop while the girls took a course in general business. While in general business the girls enjoyed a tour of the new Bowdle State Bank. The girls kept their room well decorated, and were active in pep club, chorus and the newspaper staff. The Freshmen were led through their first year by Mr. McCarty, Advisor; Candice Bieber, Treasurer; Robert Zimmer, Vice President; Mary Miller, President; and Dean Mertz, Secretary.
