D.A.R. Girls’ State Salutatorian Valedictorian Boys’ State SKATED: Jack Kurle, Jerome Buechler, Jerry Mitzel, Tom Casey. STANDING: Connie Berg, Calvin Sandmeier, Melanie Miller, Advisor Mr. Wooledge, Carolee Huft, Mary Heckenlaible. In its second year, the Dirigo (I lead) chapter of the National Honor Society has advanced its membership by receiving five new members. These students have earned admittance by maintaining a B average throughout high school and by meeting other require- ments such as leadership, character, and service. We feel the Honor Society has given students something worth-while for which to strive.
