Former Juniors, now Seniors, beam over the successfulness of the i960 prom. This hut served as our punch center which served the guests. A A This stage setting added to the theme of Oriental Gardens . This scene shows the entire setting of the prom. The Senior and Junior Classes and Faculty were served by these waiters. The Grand March was highlighted by an arch which was formed by the couples participating. After much plan- ning, a bridge was constructed which provided the entrance into the Oriental Gardens . These smiling wait- resses served the de- licious supper that the mothers had prepared. Thursday, October 20, i960 The Homecoming Festivities got underway with a Snake Dance which began at the schoolhouse and progressed to Main Street where a Pep Fest was held. A delicious lunch was served to the spirited group in the school gym. Homecoming Day A clear, sunny day, as well as the enthusiasm of the student body, provided the setting for the Homecoming Football Game. The Bowdle Bobcats defeated the Kerried Yellowjackets by the score of 42 to 7 which added to the gaiety of the students. Harvest Moon, the theme of the evening's setting, was highlighted by the crowning of the '61 3obcat King and Queen. A very entertainable program which consisted of various skits and musical selections was presented by the student body. A well-attended dance brought about the end of a long remembered day.
