DEDICATION Charlene Frances Major is a member of the class of 1987. On August 12, 1984 Charlene was involved in an automobile accident that changed her life, her family’s, and her friends’. Since that tragic day she has not been able to attend school and will be unable to graduate with her class. We, the class of 1987, still consider her a part of our class, and have decided to show our admiration for Charlene and her family. We dedicate our senior yearbook to her. miN YOU AND I ARE APART Sometimes I get lonely and thinking about you helps reminding me that there is a person I cherish so very much always close in spirit even when you’re so far away . . . T he evening of September 25, 1986 marked the birth of another tradition at BHS, when the first Academic Awards Banquet took place in the cafeteria. Faculty members selected students for recognition based upon merit; awards were given in many categories other than grade point achievement. Dinner for the School Committee, BHS faculty and administration, and honored students and their families was prepared and served by the Upper Cape Cod Regional Vocational- Technical School. Special awards for Outstanding Academic Achievement were presented to Linda Correia, Angela Dadak, and Jessie McQuaid. Recipients of the awards were; Kimberly Baker, Barbara Basset, Steve Bocca, David Buttrick, Gretchen Colley, Linda Correia, Angela Dadak, Michael Espina, Heather French, Michelle Gauthier, Shaun Handy, Theresa Kirby, Barbara Lefavor, David Lefavor, Tara Lockhart, Leonard Maker, Katherine McLeod, Karen Brace, Jessie McQuaid, Elizabeth Bolger-Garrison, Russell Peck, Stephen Peckham, Rithy Plang, Malee Prete, Dennis Reynolds, Mavis Robinson, Thomas Swift, Shannon Tatlow, Daniel Uitti, Donnelle Walton, Judith Yacino.
