(Bourne to be Underclassmen ■ %fk c-« I — 4 DEDICATION FREDERICK J. DUNBURY The Canal Currents of 1986 is dedicat- ed to Mr. Frederick J. Dunbury, prin- cipal of Bourne High School from 1979 to 1985. Although Mr. Dunbury is now the principal of the Otis Memorial School, he remains with us here, in our hearts. Thank you, Mr. Dunbury, for the years of hard work and concern that you’ve given to the high school and to all of us. FREDERICK J. DUNBURY Private 1st Class Dunbury, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas H. Dunbury of Buzzards Bay, is serving with the 8th Marine Battalion aboard the USS Coral Sea. His unit is part of the 2d Marine Division. Dunbury is a graduate of Bourne High School and enlisted Aug. 4, 1947. Grondin became Principal of Bourne High School on May 6, 1985. Prior to com- ing to the Cape, Mr. Grondin was an as- sistant principal at Whitman-Hanson. Under Mr. Gron- din’s leadership, many changes have already taken place here at BHS, and more are sure to follow. Our prin- cipal enjoys his job, Bourne’s students, and the staff of BHS, and he antici- pates many suc- cessful years ahead. The Administrator The Man Dr. Gray Pamela J. Gray is the Assistant Prin- cipal of the high school. Not only is this her first year at BHS, but this is also her first ad- ministrative posi- tion. While Dr. Gray has found that being Assis- tant Principal is very different from being an English teacher, she looks forward to meeting the challenges that each day brings.
