Office 0 iris MRS. JUDY HENDY School Secretary This year the office is practically another class room. The girls are sent on errands, type letters, take dictation, and keep the office and teachers ' room tidy for guests and the administration. These girls gain excellent experience in many of the phases of secretarial work; into which many go after graduation. The Junior and Senior girls get special help in taking shorthand and typing from Mrs. Hendy. We feel that this is invaluable train- ing for all of them. The office girls are very fortunate to have this opportunity and we are sure that they will profit from it greatly. L 1 - — 1 J J 1 1 j 1 1 1 l ) Left to right: F. Jackson, E. Wright, J. Through these trying times, in which the greatest ingenuities and exertions of mankind are being tested for our very existence it is hopeful that the pillar of education in its various facets will so influence the thinking world, that the noblest of qualities and attributes will prevail, shaping a world of progress, peace, and hope, hitherto unknown. We, each of us, in our own way, how ever small, should strive to contribute to this world at every op portunity, for by so doing, we ourselves become abundantly en riched. There is no substitute for morals and knowledge, upon which is based the philosophy of successful living WALTER STAHURA
