Patterns and recipes, nurrition and family relations were all a part of the Home Economics Department. In homemaking classes, the every day problems of home management and family living were Studied and discussed so that the Student might be better prepared to accept the responsibilities en- countered in the future. To help the Students become effi- cient and happy homemakers was one of the main objeCtives 0f the insrrucrors. Skilled and efficient businessmen and women are the result of the training that the business department of Bountiful High School offered to the students. Accounting, operating business machines, typing, and shorthand are skills that will be helpful to the future business executive. The opportunities offered to graduates of business courses are innumerable and the practical experience gained helps to insure success in many vocational areas. . . .
