Now that 1979 has arrived, we are ending another decade that has been filled with many memorable events-a decade that we can reflect on. During the 70's we have had our share of triumphs, victories, and happy times. The whole world rejoiced when American astronauts walked and worked for hours on the moon's surface. A few years later, America's longest war was brought to an end when the Vietnam Peace Pact was signed. Our Bicenten- nial celebration renewed America's patriotism. The last decade also marks a period of growth at Bound Brook High School, with Co-ed gym classes and increased participation in girls' sports. A refurbished gym, auditorium, and cafeteria along with the landscaping behind the school also show signs of progress at B. B. H. S. But we also shared tragedies and sad times. President Nixon resigned after the Water- gate truths were revealed. The deaths of Elvis Presley, Pope Paul Vl, and Pope john Paul I left the world in shock. The great flood put Bound Brook on the map. These are only a few reflections which will someday help us to remember life in the 7O's. One of the best ways to remember, however, is to look at some of the people of the 7O's. This is Bound Brook High School in 1979. , W 'M' 4 w..,,M
