PAGE 4 MRS. JAMES F. STEIDLE Qedzm izbn THE MEMBERS OF THE CLASS OF 1962 are dedicating their Echo to a person who has been both an efficient instructor and a de- voted friend. She has distinguished herself by her diligence in classroom instruction, her concern for each of her students individ- ually, and her interest in the cheerleaders. Mrs. Steidle's geniality and vitality were inspirations to every one of us who knew her. Neat, bright, and cheery, she put each of us at ease by her mere presence. Her lectures were not only precise and scholarly, but also animated , never clouded by wordiness, they were enriched by her sparkling wit. Moreover, Mrs. Steidle was always ready to help us. Before, during, and after classes, she was prepared and willing either to elucidate unclear items or merely to chat with her students. This helped us both mentally and emotionally. For her untiring efforts to be a patient ad- visor and an interested friend to each o-f us, we dedicate the 1962 Echo to Mrs. james F. Steidle.

UVEWOWZ OUR HANDS ARE A SYMBOL of our hopes and achieve- ments. They have helped us to obtain those things of which we have dreamed 5 they will, properly used, help us to attain future goals.
