JULIUS SULMONETTI VICE PRESIDENT .....,., CHARLES WELCH is T565 at We we 'V.gf'Q Jijiwfl S5451 wi'-CT' xl ic 0 x K I ROSE AN 'V c secre ta:!4RELLl 04 'P4 re s 437' 9 56 an fe 44, ot-X vt' Mas eeonses Class Dean FLIGHT UNLIMITED FUR THE CLASS DF 1957 BASIC TRAINING We enlisted received our induction notices and entered B B H S expectant but determined to make the grade Our first year wasf one of learning and training watching what others did arrd hearmg what others had done before us The work was hard because it was different but we showed our strength as a co operative group by our maga zine campaign efforts the skating party we held and our winning freshmen athletic teams Our first year came to an end with the traditional freshman PICHIC STILL GROUNDED We took the title of sophomore proudly. as we stepped one goal higher, knowlng we would have to work even harder to keep the name We were beginning to feel surer of ourselves, and clubs and other extracurrlcula HCLIVILIES became part of our schedules One of our most outstandmg achievements of our soph year was our inauguration of the Sock Hop We gave our class skatmg party with the same successful results, that have followed us all through our four years, and we celebrated the end of our wise year with a full attendance at our usual class picnic. FLIGHT PREPARATION: I remember the sense of pride we all felt as we took our place as juniors. Upper classmen at last, we were aware of our new status and our record shows the strides we made. One of our greatest achievements was the freshness and creativeness of our Junior Prom. Our theme, Rhapsody SENIOR CLA In Blue will long be remembered by all of us We worked hard 1n making our skating party and class picnic successful trying hard to prove ourselves in preparation for what we would undertake the following year WINGS AT LAST Off and flying we rushed lnto our senior year with hopes high whirling amid the bustling of act1v1ty We got the year off to a wonderful start with our senior play Mystery At Greenfingers The middle of the year marked the de parture of our devoted friend and principal, Mr Henry C Jensen We were fortunate ln receiving in h1s place Mr Harry Swift, whom we are grateful to for helplng us com plete our last year with such success Time flew by so swiftly, and our recollectlons of our last big dance together, our Senior Ball, complete with tux, billowing nets, and the fragrance of flowers, will always be foremost in our memories We shall never forget the fun and enjoyment, which we always experienced in all of our undertakings, cllmaxed by our senior trip Time was draw ing closer, and we selected as our graduation theme, the class ring. Upon donning our caps and gowns. we, the senior class look back on Bound Brook High School and see all we have contributed and received.
