A neat hem-line was not the most important thing in the world to Mrs. Harvey, but it was one of the most important . . . any time we wanted to stall for time . . . a slight sug- gestion brought forth stories of her experiences in rearing her family . . . which were timely in family relations class which she taught . . , her clay was a full one with iunior homemak- ing, plus senior high homernaking, family relations and sponsor of iunior high and senior high F.H.A ....

Those surprise quizzes Mr. Foreman faced us with almost every day threw us for a loop often, but we made it through math in iunior high . . . and checked in again as iuniors for American History . . . we'll remember him for his good coaching as assistant football coach, and JV basketball, and as sponsor of sophomore class . . .

Mrs. McAdams had the patience ot Job. How she stood the click-clack of thirty typewriters for two or three or four hours a day, we never knew . . . she didn't like students ierking paper out of the machine . . . but Pepper forgot. So did many other beginning typists . . . she also taught sophomore English and office machines . . . and advised the Pebbles staff . . we liked her classes . . . ...,., COMMERCIAL 'i science Q!! Bob, if you insist on chewing gum, l'Il have to have enough to take home to each of my grandchildren . . . Mrs. King had little patience with the gum-chewer, but her patience was endless with us when we were slow in getting a correct answer in bookkeeping . . , she l . had a way of looking at you over her glasses that made you know she meant business . . . she taught us so much more than bookkeeping and shorthand . , . and banking . . . real lessons in living . . . we could. always depend that she would be fair . . . we often wondered where she managed to get enough hours in the day and enough energy to do the exacting iob of handling school funds with the help of student book- keepers . . .
